About the team:
As Worldpay grows, our need for a skilled and seasoned collection team grows. Being a player in the payments processing industry requires a savvy team of experts who can easily navigate delinquent accounts in accordance with departmental, investor, and legal guidelines, ensuring attainment of company goals.
Experience: Previous experience in accounts receivable, collections, or a similar role preferred
**This role is hourly plus a monthly incentive plan!**
**Hybrid Workspace: Two Days Onsite, Three Days Remote**
What you'll own:
Customer Invoicing: Send invoices to customers, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
Payment Tracking: Monitor and track payments received from customers, updating records accordingly.
Collections: Follow up on overdue accounts through phone calls, emails, and letters to ensure timely payment.
Dispute Resolution: Address and resolve any billing discrepancies with invoices.
Reporting: Excel knowledge of regular reports on accounts receivable status, including aging reports and collection metrics.
Customer Relations: Maintain positive relationships with customers and relationship managers while effectively managing collections.
What you bring:
High school diploma or GED required
Business-to-business (B2B) experience desired
Strong communication and negotiation skills.
Attention to detail and accuracy.
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to handle sensitive information confidentially.
Problem-solving skills to address and resolve customer issues.
Excellent writing and editing skills.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Proficiency in using communication tools and platforms.
Experience: Previous experience in accounts receivable, collections, or a similar role preferred
Stakeholder Engagement: Ensure organizational initiatives and projects are effectively communicated to employees and stakeholders
Relationship Building: Foster strong relationships across departments to facilitate open communication and collaboration
Financial Analysis: Skills in financial analysis can aid in understanding customer payment patterns and identifying potential issues early.
