We sat down for a quickfire round of questions with Marketing Manager, Victoria Zhang to learn more about her role, her morning routine, her best advice and why she loves being a Worldpayer.
Hey Victoria! Thanks for sitting down with us. Tell us about your role at Worldpay.
I’m a Marketing Manager based in Shanghai. I’m responsible for all the marketing activities in China and support global campaigns to ensure they land locally. Marketing activities range from tradeshows, events and PR and social events to enhance brand awareness. Ultimately, my goal is to showcase Worldpay’s capabilities to boost brand awareness and sales.
Sounds exciting! How would you describe your team?
Worldpay is a global company, so I get to work with Marketers from across the world. We are a team of creators, advocators and local brand owners bridging the internal and external to showcase our key values. We’re a team who embraces diversity, works at pace and is constantly evolving to the moving market. We own it!

What’s your favorite part of the job?
I love that it’s never a one-person job – as Worldpayers, we collaborate and win together, across regions, teams and roles. We win and we fail, as one.
What’s your biggest learning that you’d share with a potential Worldpayer?
Worldpay is a place where you’re encouraged to try, to test and to challenge. Leaders are transparent and open, and colleagues are experts, while also being easy-going and collaborative.

What’s your favorite piece of career advice that a Worldpayer has given you?

What does your morning look like before work?
My alarm goes off at 7am. I’m not a big morning person but I always make sure to start the day with a glass of water! I arrive to the subway station at around 8:30am and listen to music and read on my way to the office. I always pick up a coffee as soon as I arrive, then it’s on to checking emails and setting myself up for the day.
