We’re looking for a Senior Quality Assurance Analyst - Manual & Automation Testing (50/50) to join our ever-evolving Dashboard team to help us unleash the potential of every business.

About the team 

Worldpay are on an exciting journey re-engineering our core merchant customer portals to be more accessible, informative, and cloud ready utilizing the latest cutting-edge technologies. This journey will require the very best engineering talent to get us there as it’s not just a technical change; it’s a cultural change as well. 

 

The Worldpay Dashboard is a key focus of the customer experience improvement program being undertaken. This customer portal is the way merchants interact with us, and gives a crucial first impression of being with Worldpay. The platform is designed around payments, not just cards, so we can cater to every emerging trend in the SMB customer space. Making the customer centric to everything we do is one of the most critical aspects of this team.

What you’ll own  

The team are working in an Agile, SAFe development environment. The team is made up of developers, testers and a Product owner. As a Quality Assurance Analyst, you will be responsible for hands on functional testing on the Worldpay Dashboard for SMBs whilst acting as a mentor to more junior members of the team. You will be working with your agile team to deliver products and change requests of the highest quality whilst proactively leading on identifying improvements and enhancements on the platform and to the testing processes. 

  • You will work alongside the team to progress backlog items 

  • You will create automated tests to enhance the existing test suite using Selenium 

  • You will support and maintain the test automation framework with respect to implementation of new features, existing features and bug fixes 

  • You will be analysing requirements and user stories to derive manual and automated test cases, adding to the test suite using Selenium 

  • You will be executing tests thoroughly to ensure software quality, running automated tests and identifying defects 

  • You will be actively contributing to process improvement initiatives and enhancements to current procedures including recommending quality improvements 

  • You will be working with project teams to resolve any issues in a timely manner whilst keeping relevant stakeholders informed of progress and challenges 

  • You will be supporting and maintaining the test automation framework with respect to implementation of new features, existing features, or bug fixes 

 

What you bring 

  • Relevant experience of at least 6-7 years as a Quality Assurance Engineer  

  • Experience within an agile development environment 

  • Experience of test automation using Selenium WebDriver, TestNG, Junit, or similar tools  

  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Git, or Maven 

  • Experience with API testing 

  • Basic knowledge of SQL 

  • Knowledge of software testing procedures and be skilled in test planning, test estimation, prioritisation and risk-based testing 

  • Practical experience of agile testing methodologies – BDD, TDD etc. 

  • Coaching and mentoring skills to provide guidance to junior team members 

  • Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies 

  • Good analytical and communication skills 

  • Ability to convert business requirements into test cases/test scenarios 

  • Fluent English (written/verbal)
