We followed Jensine Mackzum, Executive Assistant in our Cincinnati Hub for a day in her life as a Worldpayer
8:30am
After a busy morning and school bus pickup, I leave my house to commute to our Cincinnati Hub with my Worldpay water bottle in hand! While the mornings are always a rush getting young kids ready for school, I’m grateful for having the flexibility to spend time with them before the workday starts.

8:53am
I arrive to the office and head to my desk. First things first, coffee! I chat with a couple of other Worldpayers who I bump into along the way – lots of the team are in Cincinnati for an offsite this week so there’s a great buzz. I get to catch up with colleagues I haven’t seen in a while.
9:00am
Time for my first in-person meeting of the day. It’s a strategy planning session for the People & Culture team so it’s an animated conversation as we discuss where we should focus in the coming months and what items we’ll need to prioritize. The group includes Worldpayers from Talent Acquisition, HR, Compensation, Benefits, Employee Experience and more – after a couple of hours we land on a clear roadmap for the next 6 months, ready to implement for colleagues all over the world.
12:00pm
I have a quick catch up with the Executive I support over coffee. We walk through her schedule for the coming week, as well as a couple of meetings that need to be moved and her plans for an upcoming trip to our Singapore Hub.
12:45pm
Even though we had donuts in the strategy planning session, I’m starving! My go-to place to eat is our Cincy Café & Courtyard. I pick up a sandwich, chips and drink and enjoy some fresh air and conversation with colleagues.

2:00pm
I get my head down on some tasks that have been sitting on my to-do list, stopping only to fill up my water bottle as I’ve set myself a challenge of drinking at least 2 liters a day.
3:00pm
Time for the weekly meeting with all the other Executive Assistants (EAs). We’re based all over, so this is a virtual meeting, and one of my favorites. We chat about our plans for the weekend before diving into updates and priorities.
4:05pm
I swing by another EA’s desk to problem solve on some scheduling conflicts. I love being able to stand up from my desk and collaborate with colleagues – it’s even better when they’ve got homemade cake at their desk and send you home with some too!
4:30pm
Back at home after meeting my kids at the bus stop. I unpack their bags as they get on with homework and tell me about their day at school.
5:15pm
I prep dinner for my family and get the kids ready for bed. I send out a couple of urgent emails ahead of tomorrow and then shut my laptop for the day.
