Make your mark at one of the biggest names in payments. We’re looking for a Quality Assurance Analyst II to join our ever evolving Third Party Connections team and help shape the future of global commerce.
What you’ll own
You will be owning the designing and planning test strategies for projects and applications.
You will be undertaking planning activities for agile deliveries.
You will work alongside the Automation Test Lead to progress automation backlog items.
You will create automated tests to enhance the existing test suite using Selenium.
You will support and maintain the test automation framework with respect to implementation of new features, existing features and bug fixes.
You will be analysing requirements and user stories to derive automated test cases, adding to the test suite using Selenium.
You will be executing tests thoroughly to ensure software quality, running automated tests and identifying defects.
You will be actively contributing to process improvement initiatives and enhancements to current procedures including recommending quality improvements.
You will be working with project teams to resolve any issues in a timely manner whilst keeping relevant stakeholders informed of progress and challenges.
You will be supporting and maintaining the test automation framework with respect to implementation of new features, existing features, or bug fixes.
What you’ll bring
4–5 years of relevant experience as a Quality Assurance Automation Engineer
Experience of test automation using Selenium Web Driver
Ability to refactor code to reduce complexity
Knowledge of software testing procedures and be skilled in test planning, test estimation, prioritisation and risk-based testing
Practical experience of agile testing methodologies – BDD, TDD etc.
Working knowledge of Unix/Linux environments and SQL
Proven experience operating within an Agile development environment
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams
