About the team

Digital Sales Assistant is responsible for driving conversion of online/self-service merchant applications into fully onboarded and actively transacting customers. The role focuses on proactive engagement with merchants throughout the onboarding journey, ensuring a seamless experience and maximising activation rates.

What you’ll own as the Digital Sales Assistant

• Merchant conversion and activations
• Play a hands‑on role in helping merchants succeed digitally
• Identify and resolve points of friction that prevent merchants from progressing digitally.
• Customer engagement
• Pipeline management
• Problem solving and support
• Proactive outreach
• Customer Centric approach - A customer‑first mindset combined with a focus on outcomes

What you’ll bring

• Strong communication skills and confidence engaging with customer (phone, email, written).
• Ability to build rapport quickly with customers.
• Highly organised with strong time management and prioritisation skills.
• Target-driven mindset with experience working to KPIs.
• Proactive and self-motivated approach.
• Comfortable using CRM systems and digital tools.

It’s a bonus if you have

• Experience in sales, customer success, or onboarding roles.
• Experience in payments, fintech, eCommerce or SME/merchant services.
• Understanding of digital onboarding processes
