We’re looking for a driven Relationship Manager to champion a portfolio of around 200 established customers across mixed industries. You’ll act as a trusted advisor—building strategic relationships, uncovering new revenue opportunities, and ensuring clients get maximum value from Worldpay’s payment solutions. This role is all about long‑term partnership growth, commercial performance, and delivering an exceptional customer experience.
This is a hybrid model of 3 days at home a week and 2 days a week in our Gateshead Office.
What you’ll own:
Manage and grow a portfolio of existing customers, achieving monthly, quarterly and annual targets.
Build deep, long‑term client relationships and act as their primary point of contact.
Develop account plans to drive retention, upsell and cross‑sell opportunities.
Deliver proposals, negotiate commercial terms, and close deals aligned with Worldpay standards.
Maintain accurate forecasting and pipeline management.
Collaborate with internal teams to support client strategy, product adoption, and executive engagement.
Reduce attrition while protecting and growing net revenue within your portfolio.
What You’ll Bring:
Proven experience in account management, relationship management, or B2B sales, ideally within a client‑facing, commercial environment.
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence and negociate effectively.
Strong commercial acumen, supported by solid analytical capability and a structured approach to problem‑solving.
Ability to perform under pressure, manage competing priorities, and consistently meet deadlines.
Demonstrated capability to build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders at all organisational levels.
It’s a bonus if you have:
Previous experience in a payment’s environment
Experience of technical sales.
