About the role:
We’re looking for a Software Test Analyst II to join our ever-evolving Gordian Knot team to help us unleash the potential of every business.
As a Software Test Analyst, you’ll play a key role in the development of fintech products that are changing the way the world pays, banks and invests. This will involve consulting on software development or operations processes, quality practices, quality audits and software measurements.
About the team :
Our Product and Technology teams are the Worldpayers behind the game-changing products and digital experiences we’re best known for. Striving for better, they never stand still — delivering impactful innovations that power transactions across the world.
The Gordian Knot team delivers many important features to support and augment our payment process capabilities. One recent team accomplishment was to enhance our fraud solution, Dispute Defender, to automate billing for chargeback cases handled for merchants. Team works directly with our ecommerce processing platform (VAP), delivering features throughout the year, focused on moving the clearing functionality to our Core system. Offerings change and our product vision pivots as well, making it an exciting time to join a team optimizing our solutions based on what is available in the payment landscape.
What you’ll own
Controlling and managing daily test activities such as performing usability testing and communicating activities and findings.
Writing automated component and acceptance tests.
Provide operational production support.
Estimating user story test effort, writing user story acceptance criteria, writing user story test cases, and implementing the test cases in test code.
Recommending test approaches for code under test.
What you bring
A bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of experience
4-5 years of experience in software testing
Knowledge of application development, software testing and quality management
Programming experience in at least one object-oriented language, preferably Java
Behavior-driven development with Karate or Cucumber
Experience with complex SQL queries and working with large relational databases
Basic knowledge of CI/CD tools like Jenkins
Working knowledge of GitHub, Jira and intellij
Exposure working with microservice APIs
