What you'll own- InP - Finance Shared Services Analyst I
- Perform and oversee complex reconciliations of financial accounts, ensuring accuracy and adherence to deadlines.
- Investigate and resolve high-level discrepancies, escalating critical issues to management as necessary.
- Review and approve reconciliation reports prepared by junior and mid-level analysts.
- Act as a subject matter expert, providing technical guidance and support to the reconciliation team.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address reconciliation challenges and implement solutions.
- Lead process improvement initiatives to enhance reconciliation efficiency and accuracy.
- Develop, document, and enforce best practices for reconciliation processes.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and external regulatory requirements.
- Prepare and present reconciliation summaries and recommendations to senior management.
- Mentor and train junior and mid-level staff, fostering professional development within the team.
- Monitor aged items and work to resolve them promptly to ensure compliance with organizational policies.
What you bring
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- 8+ years of experience in account reconciliation, financial analysis, or a similar role.
- Proven track record of handling complex reconciliations and process improvement initiatives.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, including macros, pivot tables, and advanced formulas.
- Experience with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems and reconciliation tools.
- Strong knowledge of accounting standards (e.g., GAAP, IFRS) and financial reporting.
- Exceptional problem-solving and analytical abilities with keen attention to detail.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Excellent communication skills to present findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and build strong relationships.
- Leadership skills with experience mentoring and guiding team members.
