Job Description
Worldpay for Platforms is a global team of enthusiastic software, payments, and financial services experts who provide vertical software companies with an all‑in‑one platform. We provide a white‑glove approach to capitalize on opportunities for growth, innovation, and transformation within embedded payments. We power over one thousand software companies through a channel strategy with multiple GTM and operational offerings. We have a deep history in Integrated Payments, are a domestic leader in Payment Facilitation (PayFac®), and acquired a next‑generation platform, Payrix, that enables developers to integrate, configure, and extend embedded payments to meet evolving software user needs.
As we continue to launch new embedded payment technologies and expand our embedded finance suite, we are focused on driving deeper adoption across our software partners and their end users through more digital and on‑demand engagement.
About the role
The Lead, Integrated Planning and Execution Partner supports execution of strategic and operational priorities for the Platforms business unit. This role partners closely with business unit leadership, Finance, and cross‑functional teams to translate strategy into actionable plans, establish operating rhythms, and track progress against business objectives.
The ideal candidate is highly execution‑oriented with strong strategic judgment—someone who can bring structure to complexity, run planning and operating cadences, and ensure teams stay aligned and accountable. This is a hands‑on role focused on orchestration, follow‑through, and continuous improvement rather than strategy ownership.
Key Responsibilities
Integrated Planning & Alignment
- Support annual and quarterly planning processes by coordinating inputs, consolidating priorities, and ensuring alignment with strategic and financial goals.
- Partner with the Business Unit GM and functional leaders to operationalize strategic initiatives and translate objectives into executable plans.
- Maintain planning calendars, templates, and governance processes to support disciplined execution.
- Collaborate with Finance to align priorities with budgets, forecasts, and performance metrics.
- Track progress against key initiatives and surface risks, dependencies, and trade‑offs.
- Prepare materials and inputs for planning sessions and leadership reviews.
Operating Rhythm & Performance Management
- Support the business unit operating cadence, including QBRs, monthly performance updates, and goal tracking.
- Manage reporting, dashboards, and status updates tied to KPIs and OKRs.
- Coordinate cross‑functional updates to ensure alignment across Product, GTM, Sales, Operations, Finance, and partner teams.
- Identify performance trends and execution gaps; work with stakeholders to recommend corrective actions.
- Promote consistency and discipline in how plans, progress, and results are communicated.
Cross‑Functional Execution & Enablement
- Drive coordination across Product, GTM, Finance, Sales, Legal, HR, and other partners to support delivery of business initiatives.
- Lead or support program management for select strategic and operational initiatives.
- Design and improve lightweight processes, tools, and templates that enhance execution and transparency.
- Reinforce a culture of accountability, clarity, and operational rigor.
Leadership Communication & Partnership
- Prepare leadership‑ready materials, including initiative updates, performance summaries, and integrated insights.
- Serve as a trusted execution partner to business unit leadership by providing clear analysis and practical recommendations.
Qualifications
- 4–7 years of experience in business operations, strategy, consulting, FP&A, or program management within a complex or matrixed organization.
- Experience supporting strategic planning, execution, and performance management processes.
- Strong analytical and financial acumen; ability to connect initiatives to outcomes and metrics.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; comfort engaging with senior leaders.
- Proven ability to influence cross‑functional stakeholders without direct authority.
- Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or equivalent experience a plus.
Success Profile
- Execution‑focused with strong operational judgment
- Brings structure, cadence, and follow‑through
- Comfortable navigating ambiguity and competing priorities
- Collaborative, pragmatic, and outcomes‑oriented
