About the team

The evolving EFE, Billing and Funding and Payment Processing teams are involved in the continuous development of Merchant Solutions, connecting and simplifying payments across all sales channels, whether in-store, online or mobile. The team comprises Finance and Funding engineers supporting each discipline within the Delivery Team (Product Owner, Design, Development and Test).

What you’ll own

• Your role will involve automating testing processes, creating scripts for high-level regression testing and designing comprehensive test plans.

• Troubleshoot and diagnose technical problems and follow-up to closure

• Investigation and reporting of defects/bugs discovered, following re-test after fix in Rally/Jira. Delivering regular progress/status reports as required.

• Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives, contributing to a culture of continuous improvement

• Manage projects from start to finish, including gathering requirements, designing test scenarios, analyzing test results, and providing detailed reports with actionable recommendations.

Extra consideration if you have:

• Sound understanding and experience of Agile working practices

• A background with financial services industry practices, regulations and processes.

• Knowledge of the Generative AI Platforms (GitHbub Copilot, etc.)
