Make your mark at one of the biggest names in payments. We’re looking for a Recoveries Administrator to join our Global Collections team.
Our Recoveries team manages a portfolio of customers who have become insolvent or managing them through the insolvency process. The team will have contact with both merchants and Insolvency Practitioners to discuss strategies for recovering any losses.
Our teams work on a hybrid model of 3 days in the office in our vibrant Manchester Spinningfields Office and 2 days at home.
All necessary training will be provided in-house.
What you’ll own as the Recoveries Administrator:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Administrator to join our team.
In this role, you will be responsible for collecting, consolidating, and managing data from both internal and external sources. You will analyse this data and present key insights to managers and senior managers, supporting decision-making across the department.
Key responsibilities
- Compiles, analyses, and presents scheduled and ad‑hoc Management Information (MI) to managers and senior leadership.
- Extracts, reviews, and consolidates system files, records, and reports to generate accurate datasets. .
- Receives, validates, and prepares data files from both internal and external stakeholders.
- Designs, develops, and maintains dashboards, trackers, and templates using Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
- Prepares, processes, and submits client forms and documentation in line with departmental standards.
- Posts transactions to accounting records such as worksheets, ledgers, or system files.
- Analyses Insolvency Data and account closure metrics, producing clear and actionable reporting.
- Creates and maintains detailed process documentation to support operational consistency and compliance.
- Contributes to departmental projects and initiatives, identifying opportunities for process improvement.
- Responds promptly and professionally to internal and external customer enquiries, ensuring timely resolution.
- Organises, cleans, and maintains data within internal systems to ensure accuracy, completeness, and reliability.
- Adheres to data privacy, confidentiality, and security policies in all data-handling activities.
- Performs other related duties as assigned to support department goals.
What you’ll bring:
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and the broader Microsoft Office suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, complex formulas.
- Exceptional attention to detail with excellent organisational and time‑management skills.
- Demonstrated willingness and ability to learn new systems, tools, and processes.
- Skilled at presenting data and information clearly, accurately, and concisely.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
- Proactive, positive, and solution‑focused approach to work.
- Able to work effectively both independently and collaboratively within a team.
