What you’ll own as the Accountant II

• Uses financial data to prepare and record general ledger journal entries.

• Primary focus of the team is with Accounts Receivables/Cash Application as well as miscellaneous card incentives.

• Prepares cash and balance sheet account reconciliations.

• Analyzes the account reconciliations and provides concise explanations for variances.

• Research period over period variances in revenue, cost of sales and expense and provide logical explanations for fluctuations.

• Prepare manual invoices on an as needed basis.

• Assists internal clients by providing information on merchant accounts and cash receipts.

• Other related duties assigned as needed.

What you’ll bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience

• 1-3 years of experience in the accounting field

• Knowledge in Excel (Formulas, pivot tables, V-Look ups) Oracle experience is a plus

• Knowledge of budgeting, cash management, and financial analysis processes

• Knowledge of accounting principles, financial statements, practices, and procedures

• Considerable knowledge of banking functions

• Skill in analytical and statistical examination for complex problem solving

• Attention to detail and accuracy
