Make your mark at one of the biggest names in payments. We’re looking for a Software Engineer to join our ever-evolving payment processing team and help us unleash the potential of every business.
This position is hybrid 3-days per week in our Cincinnati, OH office. This position is not eligible for remote work
What you’ll own as the Software Engineer
Analyze requirements and design that’s robust, scalable with ease of maintenance
Development of batch settlement applications that assess pricing, generate settlement, reports and general ledgers.
Support the unit and integration testing with various other systems.
Mastery of multiple programming languages and technologies, as required.
Collaboration with product and design teams to deliver high-quality documents by incorporating feedback to continuously improve content and presentation.
Active participation in Agile Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives, to ensure continuous improvement and effective team collaboration.
Interacting with product managers and users to define requirements and modifications
Participating in software design meetings to determine technical requirements.
What you’ll bring
A bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, computer science or other related discipline and 3+ years of experience or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience.
Mastery of 1 or more programming languages; willingness and ability to learn and master both new and legacy technologies.
Experience with Agile development principles.
Experience with end-to-end systems development life cycles and standards.
Proficiency in solutions design and requirements definition disciplines.
Excellent analytical, decision-making, problem-solving, team, and time management skills
Positive outlook, strong work ethic, and responsiveness to internal and external clients and contacts.
It’s a bonus if you have
SAS, REXX, assembler or API experience.
