We’re looking for a Senior Relationship Manager to join our existing customer management (ECM) team to help us unleash the potential of every business.
About the team
The team is responsible for managing the payments business for larger SMB customers by driving additional revenue from the accounts to hit financial growth targets.
As a Senior Relationship Manager, you will be assigned a portfolio of existing high value accounts. You will be responsible for managing and growing the book of business to cultivate future projects and qualify new opportunities.

What you’ll own as the Relationship Manager:
- Manage senior stakeholders for your accounts to align on the relationship strategy and agenda and serve as a point of escalation for the day-to-day relationship activities.
- Drive revenue growth by selling the company’s products and services across your portfolio.
- Ensures that schedules and budgets are met according to contractual agreements.
- Oversee the creation and delivery of quarterly account plans, working closely with division leaders to track progress.
- Coordinate multiple stakeholders across global locations to ensure mutual objectives are met and deliver the best outcomes for customers.
- Structure, negotiate, and close deals that balance client expectations with Worldpay’s delivery capabilities; leverage internal resources for product marketing or specialised sales expertise.
- Demonstrate deep expertise in company products and services, articulating customer requirements to enhance Worldpay’s product roadmap.
- Focus on account retention with a growth mindset to identify and pursue new opportunities.
- Act as a trusted advisor to customers, understanding their businesses and their needs and matching the benefits of our solutions effectively to build a compelling value propositions.
- Serve as an internal subject matter expert, supporting stakeholders and virtual teams in understanding sector nuances and enabling effective collaboration.
- Conduct regular customer visits to deliver Business Reviews
What you’ll bring
- At least 2 year’s proven experience including research, discovering needs, recommending solutions, and solving business problems.
- Comfortable selling to Senior stakeholders
- Excellent selling, negotiation and communication skills.
- Have sold to and won business
- Demonstratable experience in sector specific, strategy-based sales.
- Must be a team player and have the ability to coach and guide junior team members
It’s a bonus if you have
- Previous experience in a payment’s environment
- Experience of technical sales.
