What you'll own as the Software Test Analyst Specialist
You will be owning the designing and planning test strategies for projects and applications
You will be undertaking planning activities for agile deliveries
You will work alongside the team to progress automation backlog items
You will support and maintain the test automation framework with respect to implementation of new features, existing features and bug fixes
You will be analyzing requirements and user stories to derive automated test cases
You will be executing tests thoroughly to ensure software quality, running automated tests and identifying defects
You will be actively contributing to process improvement initiatives and enhancements to current procedures including recommending quality improvements
You will be working with project teams to resolve any issues in a timely manner whilst keeping relevant stakeholders informed of progress and challenges
Communicate quality information throughout the organization. Support development and delivery of training in quality matters.
Handle other related duties assigned as needed.
What you'll bring
4+ years experience in QA test automation
Proficiency in C# and experience testing microservices-based architectures using Specflow and/or Reqnroll
Experience within an agile development environment
Hands-on experience with API and Microservices testing
Knowledge of software testing procedures and be skilled in test planning, test estimation, prioritization and risk-based testing
Experience with automation tools such as Selenium, ReadyAPI, BrowserStack, or similar.
Practical experience with API testing, Postman, Swagger, and contract testing tools.
Experience with DevOps tools and practices (Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, Git, CI/CD pipelines).
Experience with performance testing tools like JMeter, Gatling, or Locust.
Experience with data analytics and monitoring tools (Splunk)
Proficiency in quality management methods, tools and technologies
Experience of mentoring and coaching junior members of the team
It’s a bonus if you have
Payments industry experience
Experience with public cloud platforms (AWS, OpenShift)
Experience with Github CoPilot
