Make your mark at one of the biggest names in payments. We’re looking for a Senior Strategy Manager Airlines & Travel to join our ever-evolving Airlines & Travel vertical growth team and help us unleash the potential of every business.
What you’ll own
- Coordinate and help drive execution of strategic commercial initiatives to grow the vertical.
- Support and develop the Worldpay value proposition to define our right to win in each sub-vertical of focus.
- Support regional sales teams on various ad-hoc tactical requests including customer meetings, RFPs, and target lists.
- Maintain the vertical playbooks, across our priority markets in NORAM, EMEA, APAC, and LATAM.
- Establish and nurture relationships with key industry stakeholders in target countries.
- Support vertical marketing activities, such as hosted events and the creation of thought leadership content and marketing assets.
- Represent Worldpay at conferences, events, and meetings to promote the company's global presence and understanding of trends impacting the Airlines, Travel and Hospitality industry.
- Identify market trends, regulatory landscapes, and competitive landscapes to inform strategic decision-making.
- Conduct thorough research and analysis of potential new markets for Worldpay's products and services.
- Conduct training sessions and workshops to educate the sales team on new products, features, and market-specific considerations.
- Evaluate market readiness and potential demand for Worldpay's offerings in each target country.
- Other related duties as assigned.
What you’ll bring
- A passion for the airline and travel industry
- A good understanding of C2B and B2B travel payment flows
- 3+ years’ experience from a Tier 1 management consultancy firm or another larger enterprise business in a strategy function, or
- 3+ years’ experience from a travel payment provider, or
- 5+ years’ expertise within an airline, travel or hospitality business.
- Exceptional data analysis and presentation skills
- Bachelor's degree required, MBA desirable
- English is the primary working language; fluency is expected.
It’s a bonus if you have
- Self-motivated and able to work to define priorities across a complex, global organization, as well as close knowledge gaps quickly.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills including the ability to build consensus behind a vision and achieve buy-in to deliver on goals.
- Excellent communication skills with previous experience speaking in panels, webinars and on stage at events.
- Strong project management skills and a willingness to be flexible and adaptable to changing priorities.
- Comfortable with global travel to attend internal and external events and customer meetings.
- As the role will be required to work with chinese merchants, mandaring language skills will be preferably.
