About the team
Worldpay, LLC seeks Software Engineer II- QA Engineer in Cincinnati, OH to test large and/or complex solutions that require analysis and research.
What you will be doing
The Software Engineer II- QA Engineer will work on multiple projects as a QA project leader or frequently as the subject matter expert. Additionally, the role will:
- Work on projects/issues of medium to high complexity that require demonstrated knowledge across multiple technical areas and business segments.
- Coach and mentor junior QA technical staff. Work under minimal supervision on complex projects.
- Perform usability testing and communicating activities and findings.
- Play a key role in the development of fintech products that are changing the way the world pays, banks, and invests.
- Consult on software development or operations processes, quality practices, quality audits and software measurements.
- Control and manage daily test activities. Provide internal quality assurance.
- Utilize database engines and to write data validation and troubleshoot queries.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or related field and five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered or a related occupation:
- working with primary database engines including IBM DB2, Microsoft SQL Server;
- writing data validation and troubleshooting queries;
- performing validations of applications being developed with object-oriented language;
- utilizing BDD tools including Cucumber and Karate to ensure that the codes being developed are tested for all business scenarios to ensure good customer experience;
- working with JMeter performance test tool for ensuring that the products and features being developed are robust and can sustain the load/volume expected in production environment;
- performing UI Testing and Test automation using Selenium;
- developing and implementing testing strategies for microservices.
