About the team

Worldpay, LLC seeks IT Architect Senior in Cincinnati, OH to document and publish appropriate architecture principles and standards, position papers, blueprints, best practices, pattern, and framework...  

What you will be doing

The  IT Architect Senior will Define, construct, support and provide training for enterprise frameworks..  Additionally, the role will:

  • Define and maintain a library of functional component models within and across FIS product lines.
  • Document functional product solutions for key FIS product strategy, product management initiatives, and financial services sales opportunities, leveraging defined functional component model libraries and the defined product line architecture roadmap.
  • Maintain a catalogue of reusable functional application components consumable across applications and product lines.
  • Review functional and technical designs to identify areas of risk and/or missing requirements.
  • Act as tie breaker on design decisions.
  • Document and communicate opportunities to leverage inter-project synergies, application and enterprise software or infrastructure asset re-use and opportunities to expose application assets for enterprise consumption.
  • Communicate system architecture to technical and business audiences.
  • Perform other related duties assigned as needed. 

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronic Engineering, or related field and five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered or a related occupation:

  • participating in business requirements and functional requirements gathering, including reviewing existing systems configurations and operating methodologies and understanding business needs;
  • designing and developing customized software solutions using software development methodologies; 
  • created detailed design documents; performing Installation and Functional testing of Middleware products;
  • providing support for Middleware Infrastructure systems;
  • participating in deployment management activities for middleware application software systems rollouts.
  • Telecommuting and/or working from home may be permissible pursuant to company policies.
