We are seeking a highly experienced CDD Quality Control Manager who will be responsible for managing the quality control team globally for QC. This role ensures the company's compliance with all applicable regulations and internal policies. What you'll own

Quality Framework & Governance

  • Design and maintain a comprehensive QC framework with clear standards and materiality thresholds
  • Establish governance structures with appropriate escalation pathways
  • Develop sampling methodologies that provide statistically significant insights

Quality Oversight & Analysis

  • Lead execution of QC reviews across CDD functions
  • Analyse results to identify trends and systemic issues
  • Conduct root cause analysis and generate actionable insights for improvement

Remediation Management

  • Implement tracking systems for QC findings and ensure timely resolution
  • Evaluate effectiveness of remedial actions and establish accountability frameworks
  • Identify recurring issues requiring process redesign or technology enhancements

Stakeholder Communication

  • Develop comprehensive reporting for executive leadership and regulatory bodies
  • Deliver insights to business units on performance and improvement opportunities

Team Leadership

  • Lead, coach and develop a team of QC analysts
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and regulatory knowledge

What you bring

Essential

  • Minimum of 7 years' experience in regulatory compliance and operational roles with a strong focus on quality control and customer due diligence
  • Extensive knowledge of CDD and financial crime regulations, including AML, KYC, and other relevant regulatory requirements
  • Proven experience in managing and developing quality control teams in a global environment
  • Strong understanding of statistical sampling approaches and data analysis techniques
  • Experience in implementing and maintaining comprehensive quality control frameworks
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, including senior management and regulatory bodies
  • Track record of driving continuous improvement in processes and team performance

Desirable

  • Experience in payment services industry
  • Familiarity with regulatory bodies including FCA or DNB
  • Relevant professional qualifications e.g. Diploma in AML or Financial Crime, CAMS certification, or quality management certifications
  • Experience using tools such as Orbis, Fenergo, Actimize, Salesforce
  • Background in risk assessment and management, particularly in the financial sector
  • Experience in developing and delivering quality control training materials
