Every March, International Women’s Day (IWD) provides us with the opportunity to focus on advancing women and celebrating their achievements. This year, the global theme for International Women's Day was “Accelerating Action”.
Worldpay and the Wow network (Women of Worldpay) celebrated IWD in a multitude of ways – from sharing Worldpayer career stories to hearing from our leaders about what Accelerating Action means to them to hosting more than 15 global IWD events throughout the month.
Worldpay’s Chief Product Officer, Cindy Turner, and Chief Technology Officer, David Cooper, spent time at the Worldpay Pune office, connecting with Worldpayers on the great work they’ve been doing and identifying areas for improvement.
This visit was also a great opportunity to relaunch our Wow network in India. Cindy, who’s one of the Executive Sponsor of Wow, hosted an IWD event while in Pune. Over 100 Worldpayers joined, and together, they discussed how to grow their careers and the unique challenges facing women in leadership.
These efforts reflect Worldpay's ongoing commitment to fostering an inclusive environment where all our Worldpayers can thrive and make an impact.
